ANDREAS LUETHI (*1961 in Uesslingen) grew up in the canton of Thurgau and completed his medical studies in Zurich. He became interested in philosophical ideas early on and began painting 25 years ago. His pictures almost always feature rows of numbers or lines, symbols of infinity, his passion.
The universe also ends, but what comes next? These are questions that Andreas Luethi asked himself even as a child. Painting lines and numbers is pure contemplation, for hours on end. His pictures are often numbered and named "Detail" or "Entry", as a symbol for a small section of a large whole.

Andreas Luethi's art has already been shown successfully in Winterthur, New York, Salzburg, Munich and last year at the Venice Biennale.
