About

Kilders Mo

The artist MO KILDERS lives and works in Cologne. A graduate in German studies and textile design, she studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Art and Design in Cologne and received her Master's degree from the Artefact Art Academy in Bonn in 2013.

Urban territories and public space are the theme of the Summer In The City series of works. Individual people populate the neutral urban environment, their movements indicating a temporary stay. These everyday, random moments are captured with a voyeuristic gaze. The fixation of the scenes from a frontal, elevated or vertical perspective intensifies the perception of the staged coincidence, whereby the formative constants of detail, fragment and focus are developed.
