Reinhard Fluri (*1962 in Solothurn) grew up at the foot of the Jura, where he still lives and works today. He trained as a graphic designer at the School of Applied Arts in Biel. He then worked as a commercial artist and illustrator. Since 1992 he has devoted himself entirely to painting.
The artist's extraordinary talent and imagination trigger a fascination that one can't get away from. Fluri works with light, the surreal imagination and an idealized, free nature. In his densely composed, hyper-realistic depictions of nature as well as in his surreal compositions, he creates an exciting New Reality with meticulous attention to detail.
